Report: Ukraine to ban imports from Russia’s RusVinyl, Kaustik

KIEV, Mar 6 (PRIME) -- Ukraine’s Economic Development and Trade Ministry has banned imports of products of Russian chemical companies RusVinyl and Kaustik starting from April 4, Ukrainian industry newswire NefteRynok reported on Monday citing a ruling of the ministry.

The two Russian companies are large producers of polyvinylchloride and caustic soda, and the newswire reported that Ukraine plans to launch production at the country’s only polyvinylchloride and caustic soda plant Karpatneftekhim in April–May.
